It’s not your problem.
You’re not responsible.
It’s not your fault.
You’re not liable.
my son is dead.
Everyone makes their own choices of action.
It is not systemic.
There is no pattern.
my son is dead.
he never told me about the constant messages of hate.
he never told me how alone he must have felt.
he never told me how i could help.
where did my happy little boy go?
where is the man he was supposed to become?
my son is dead.
and, the rest is deafening silence.

I am so very sorry for your loss. There are not words….just prayers for your heart.
thank you for your kindness. however, this piece is a fictional account of the many who are lost to cyber-bullying.
It is very good. I am glad you did not suffer through a loss like that, and I hope that your message here will touch those being bullied and the bulliers. It is an awful thing.
thank you. i hope my message reaches them too.

Wow, girl! This is powerful – made me cry. It should be used in anti-bullying campaigning! Thanks for sharing this. It needs to be read!

I’m glad it is fictional for you, and very aware it is not fictional for others.. I hope many read this.
i hope so too.

Reblogged this on Where I Stand and commented:
A fictional poem that paints a painful poem of the very real problem of suicide and bullying. I Stand for Radical Acceptance.
Touching..,especially it reminded me a bit of a poem I wrote after my brothers suicide. It is in Norwegian, otherwise I would have shared it with you. Can I, at some point, share this poem on my blog?
i am so sorry about your brother. i would love it if you shared this on your blog. peace be with you. π
